I did it wrong for so many years, but repented and began to learn. When I changed, my husband noticed quickly. He responds to my kindness, grace and letting things go. I can only do this with surrender and the Holy Spirit. Thanks for what you write!
Totally agree with all. But so hard and takes discipline to overcome feelings and emotions and just be obedient to God. Can only happen with prayer and the Holy Spirit. I absolutely cannot do this on my own.
Such wise words! We have been married 45 years now and the kids (all 7) are no longer at home. We did neglect our marriage for many years and it found us facing a really hard season. The Lord is gradually reshaping us and we are relearning how to be a couple again.
These sentences can very easily be wisdom for the woman of the house also. Replace every him, he, husband with, she, her and wife and you have a medicine for both parties. Thanks for the lost. I enjoyed reading this. 🇺🇸🫡🙏☦️
True—though I would say the list for losing a wife would be dramatically different from this one. Mostly bc male vs female sin natures and flesh tendencies are not the same. A wife’s quarrels with her husband aren’t usually the ones on this list. Perhaps a few over lap, but not many.
I’m sorry, I meant to comment that these words of wisdom can be very applicable to the man of the house. Either way it’s sage advice for either husband or wife. Thanks for posting. 🇺🇸🫡🙏
This has been my favorite so far. I love Ephesians because God gives us the framework for a happy marriage. Feminism is the opposite and feminist women are wondering why they can’t find a man. They are too busy trying to replace them instead of be with them in harmony.
Bravo. So many women are coming around to this reality. No one can have it all. Staying home and raising a family is not a bad gig. You can still love your man well and work outside the home but it is not as easy. Man has to love his wife as Christ loved the Church. A super high bar.
I really didn’t want to hear this right now. Usually, I would, but not today. Which is why God lifted my eyes up to read it. I can hardly bear it but my heart is guarded from bitterness when I am trusting in him.
“Romanticized rebellion…“ Wow. Exactly correct, this needs to be taught to every daughter, every young woman, every wife as counter propaganda to the feminist madness.

Thank you for this powerful testimony!!
Lord please let me be the wife my husband needs me to be today.

I followed your train of thought! True! Thanks. 😊
I wish more women would read this. Especially #4-8, 10, 12, 13.
I love my wife dearly, she's my heart, but she's doing everything on your list.
Through the last 15 years of marriage, I constantly feel alone. When I try to bring it up, it's like I'm hurting her.
Women, love your men. We'll do anything for you, more so if you give us a little attention.
A little bit goes a long way. But even the most faithful dog will eventually not show up when called.

Forgive me Lord!!
Thank you Jesus 😌♥️🙏🏼
God bless you and your family.

Thank you for this incredibly challenging and convicting message!
Men, let's be clear: it is ours to love our wives as Christ loves His bride, the church.
It is ours to lead the marriage and household, in love.
If we do not, then might this not be the natural result?
We will undoubtedly be held to account if we fail – that's why prayer, the Holy Spirit, brothers, and fellowship are available to us, for help.
Our wives will be held to account, regardless, but it begins with us – we are the head.

Thank you. This is exactly what happened to my marriage

I am so glad I came across this note. It is rich with wisdom -- thank you!
Well written truth! The solution isn’t easy, but worth every second. Thanks for posting this. 💕
